High Holding Power anchors
High Holding Power anchors are engineered to provide exceptional grip and stability, even in extreme conditions
The key to their effectiveness lies in their design. HHP anchors feature flukes and shanks optimized to dig deep into seabed materials such as sand, mud, or clay. This increases resistance against forces from wind, current, and waves.
Compared to conventional anchors, High Holding Power anchors provide twice the holding power relative to their weight, making them a preferred choice for large ships, oil rigs, and floating structures.
We offer the following types from stock in Europe:
HHP AC-14
The AC-14 anchor is a stockless high holding power anchor.
This means you can reduce 25% of the weight that would normally be attributed to conventional anchors.
It is a strong anchor with a good holding capacity.

HHP D'HONE
The D’HONE anchor is a very strong anchor which is especially suitable for fitting into anchor pockets.
These anchors are fully balanced, and as a result, they always go back to their correct upright position, which has the advantage that they will never get stuck in the anchor pocket.

HHP N
The N-type HHP anchor is designed to fit into small anchor pockets on modern ships.
The hollow flukes are welded from two plates to create strong anchoring performance under various circumstances. This construction gives the anchor a large resistance against bending forces.
The applications of the anchor are large yachts, cruise ships and container vessels

HHP TW
The TW type HHP anchor has more than 2 times holding power than the conventional anchor of the same weight.
The anchor has large flat flukes made out of high tensile steel plate material. The thickness varies from 15 mm up to 140 mm depending on the anchor size.
It allows a weight reduction of 25% compared to a conventional anchor for the same equipment number It has a fully balanced type and unbalanced type.
The fully balanced type always has its flukes in a vertical position while lifting the anchor. The unbalanced type will tip over to one side
