Weather- and watertight doors & hatches
Thormarine offers a wide range of weather- and watertight hinged doors for the shipbuilding and offshore industry and we are pleased to offer their products to our customers.
Both types of doors are available in
Steel (Grade-A LRS)
Aluminum (5754-H111) or
Stainless steel AISI 316 L
The watertight doors are equipped with Thormarine Quick Pin® central locking system.
The weathertight doors with DIN Toggles/Clips.
Watertight doors are BV type approved according SOLAS convention and all individual tested on pressure.

Standard specifications:
Sigmaweld MC weld primer
Angle bar frame 75 x 50 x 7 mm
Adjustable M-20 hinges with grease nipple
6 or 8 mm steel door leaf
Stainless steel handles and Thormarine Quick Pin® locking mechanism
Options available:
A60 insulation 40mm or 110mm
Dead/latch bolt
Window or porthole
2-8 Thormarine Quick Pin® lock boxes
All doors are supplied as single leaf or double leaf doors
DIN Toggle doors
All doors are produced according to customer sizes.
Standard doors are made with
Steel angle bar frame 75x50mm with radius corners
Steel 6mm doorleaf with 43x20mm seal
DIN 83403 door toggles
Steel adjustable hinges including grease nipple
Surface treatment: door and frame shotblasted SA2.5 and primed
Options available:
A60 insulation
Dead/latch bolt
Window or porthole
2-10 DIN clips
All doors are supplied as single leaf or double leaf doors
