P.N. Erichsen stocks elastomeric bearings, with unique wear characteristics and low friction, which makes them an ideal slide bearing material for a number of pump applications as well as for sewage systems and the shipbuilding industry.

The bearings are available as rods, tubes or sheets in standard dimensions but can also be supplied as per customer requirements.

Our rudder bearings operate without grease above and below the waterline and is approved for pressures up to 12 N/mm2 (1740 psi).

Designed to operate dry. This means that it can be installed without the need for lubrication lines, thus eliminating any risk of pollution associated with grease.

And the material offers high abrasion resistance and can also withstand high shock loads, improving the wear life of the bearing.

All bearings are manufactured according to ISO 9001:2008 Quality System requirements and are approved by most of the Classification Societies.
